So far more than 2000 institutions in India have undergone the process of assessment and accreditation by NAAC. In the process of assessment and accreditation NAAC appoints an expert committee to visit the institution and validate the data provided in the SSR. The experts will submit a report and recommend a grade based on their assessment. The report prepared by the experts as a part of the assessment and accreditation contains a truthful evaluation of the various activities in the institution and also recommendations for providing quality education based on the seven criteria laid down by NAAC.
